Judges:          According to nominations from the competition management

• The competition is announced as a qualifying event to earn points necessary for participation in the national championship. Points can also be earned for announced special prizes. A minimum of four SMČR clubs with at least two members each, holding valid sports licenses, must participate to meet NSA requirements.
• Models for the competition can be registered either online via the modelers' portal https://contests.ipmscz.eu or on-site. Due to time constraints at the event, it is strongly recommended to use online registration. 
  • Online registration for competition models will open on August 28, 2024, at 00:00 and close on September 28, 2024, at 5:00.
  • On-site registration (without prior online registration) will be available on Friday, September 27, 2024, from 17:00 to 19:30, and on Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 8:00 to 10:00. A handling fee of 100 CZK (€4) will be charged for on-site registration.

• Each registered modeler will receive a model specially prepared for this event. This model can be picked up in exchange for a voucher (a bag received during model submission) at the registration desk, earliest during the award ceremony.
• Proxy (representative) participation is allowed. A proxy participant does not have the right to lodge a protest.
• Models must be on display tables by the start of the competition and can only be removed during the award ceremony (exceptions must be arranged individually with the organizers).
• Participants enter the competition at their own risk, and the organizers are not responsible for damage or loss of models during the event.
• Competitors are responsible for correctly categorizing their models. Any discrepancies must be corrected by the model submission desk before the start of the competition. The organizers reserve the right not to evaluate models incorrectly categorized.

Evaluation of competition categories:
Models will be evaluated by committees composed of experienced modelers using a comparative method.

The organizer reserves the right not to award prizes in categories where fewer than three different participants are entered.
A contestant can win a maximum of one prize in a single category (this does not apply to special prizes).

In each category, several models may be awarded:

• The top three positions will be ranked.
• Depending on the number of entries and the quality of the models, additional models may receive a "COMMENDED" award without ranking.

Contestants may lodge a protest against the competition results. A fee of 500 CZK will be charged, refundable if the protest is deemed justified.

• Museum of the Air Battle over the Ore Mountains Prize, September 11, 1944 for the best model of an aircraft that participated in the air war over Europe between 1939 and 1945 (awarded to 1 junior and 1 senior by the museum director)
• LOM Praha s.p. Prize for the best model of an aircraft or helicopter flown by Czechoslovak and Czech pilots in both junior and senior categories (awarded by a representative of LOM s.p.).
• AERO Vodochody Aerospace a.s. Prize for the best model of an aircraft produced by Aero from the period 1919–2024 (awarded by a representative of AERO).

Evaluation of Special Prizes:

Special prizes will be evaluated by the prize announcer or a committee appointed by the prize announcer.

ANNOUNCEMENT OF RESULTS AND AWARD PRESENTATION:

For each awarded model, a personalized card with the ranking or prize, model name, and category code will be placed before the final ceremony.

During the results announcement, only the following prizes will be awarded:

Best of E-Day

Special prizes from external partners

Prizes for 2nd and 3rd place, "Commended," and other special prizes will be distributed at the registration desk upon presentation of the personalized card. The voucher (a bag given to contestants during model submission) may also be required for verification when collecting prizes.
