Basic scheme of the Milovice Tank Farm for E-Day 2022.
Transportation by car - in the centre of Jiřice village you need to turn eastwards (i.e. if you are coming from the D10 motorway, turn left, if you are coming from Lysá, then right) onto the local road with a paving surface and further out of the village.
Follow the pink waymarked path through the pine forest, past the prison. After 1700 metres from the junction in Jirice, turn right - it will be signed "Tankodrom / E-Day".
REGULAR VISITORS
- from this turn-off continue another 850 m to the entrance to the Tankodrom (right turn, again to be signposted). On the map this part of the road is marked in green.
- Parking on the asphalt area marked "Parking návštěvníci" (parking visitors). Parking fee for the Tankodrom company = 100,- CZK/day
- from there either walk along the orange marked path to the entrance of the exhibition hall (700 m), or take the narrow gauge railway train (FREE, regular service between the car park and the exhibition hall) - the stop at the car park is on the raised embankment to the east of the car park (direction from where you come).
EXHIBITING MODELLERS AND VENDORS
The exhibiting modellers and traders turn off at the last section of the road after 620m (marked in blue). After the entrance gate, continue through the technical area of the tank yard and between the horse and deer paddocks to almost reach the exhibition hall. On the last stretch of the asphalt road there will be a parking lot (blue area with hachure) on the left, designed only for exhibiting modelers and vendors with a parking card (obtained when registering models or from the organizers - the parking card does not replace the parking fee paid to the the Tankodrom company = 100,- CZK/day, it entitles you to park in the reserved parking lot).
Exhibiting modelers will be allowed to enter the hall and subsequently to register from the left (south) side of the hall (at the opposite end from the entrance for general visitors). BFC members have their entrance with registration in the same places as general visitors (from the right); however, if they are also exhibiting modelers, they need to enter from the left side.
The car park behind the exhibition hall (left) can be used temporarily to unload models and goods.
VISITORS USING THE SHUTTLE SERVICE
The E-Day bus stop from Lysá nad Labem train station will be near the refreshment area - Vietnamese Village - "Stop at the helicopter" (Mi-2). From there, the destination is a walk of only a few dozen meters along the sidewalk behind the MiG-21 aircraft and on to the visitor entrance and BFC on the north side of the exhibition hall.
The same stop is designated for departures back to Lysá nad Labem trainstation.
